It's gone!
Just learned today….the only remaining factory that makes typewriters is gone. It is located in India and lack of sales closed it down. I’m old enough that I took a typewriting class in high school SEVERAL years ago and remember having to get used to using a “keyboard” attached to a computer in the late ’70’s. Those keyboards have taken over and most don’t even have wires to connect them to the computers. How could we ever imagine going back to typewriters? But HOLD IT! Seen those new LP’s being released and turntables showing back up to play them?
3 words: Never say never!
