I heard most of my adult life … “wait until you have grandchildren and you’ll find a new joy you have never known and you’ll never be able to get enough of them.” No truer words have been spoken.
Today – one of those joys! 21 month old granddaughter – Lily Kate and I went to Centennial Park here in Nashville and fed the ducks. We have tried to do this event with most of our grandchildren because they all love it. We stop at the Kwik-Mart, buy the bread, park the car and we’re not out of the car 60 seconds and here come the ducks. Today, it was raining but we didn’t let that dampen our spirits. We fed the ducks from the SUV.
I could have shown you the full-length 5:30 minute video … but I reduced it and gave you some of the sweet moments a granddaughter can have with her Poppy. Lucky ducks, lucky Lily Kate but extremely blessed – Poppy!
