A buddy of mine posted a video of this young man over the weekend as he played to near perfection the great Clapton hit “Change The World” written by some terrific Nashvillians I might add! I was blown away by the talent of Sungha Jung, the nearly 15 year-old fingerstyle guitar virtuoso from South Korea. Deciding at age 9 he wanted to play like his Dad, Sungha has been hailed by many guitar lovers and musicians around the world as one of the finest young guitarists today!
The video below was recorded 4 years ago at age 11. He is now on tour around the world and has many videos he has produced. I’ve not only posted the “Change The World” video but also posted more recent video releases for you to view as well. This shows his growth as a musician over these last 4 years as he approaches age 15 in a few months!

There’s just something about these Asian kids and the discipline they are taught to perfect their gifts while very young that pays off in a young man such as this. Quite amazing really!
